We were given tickets to "A Fairy Hunt" in Franklin Canyon (out past Woodland Hills). It was beautiful weather and the best part of all was the glitter and dress-up! Good thing mom bought this costume for her--we got more than one use out of it! We took Mrs Sathre (my friend Janine) and her two little ones, Kylie (3 1/2) and Cameron (2).

We are like pumpkins. God picks us out, picks us up, washes us clean, opens us up, pulls out the muck, scrapes us clean, carves a new smile, and puts His light in us for the whole world to see.

Great pictures! I loved the "pumpkin" analogy. Isn't God good to even bother with us dirty pumpkins?
Keep enjoying these precious ones. These moments are fleeting.
