Camping, Ventura RV Park

We had an opportunity to take a few days (Thurs-Sat) to go camping! Yeah! :-)
We stayed local and drove up to Ventura. The location was central to the harbor and Carpenteria but the camping sites were next to the freeway.
We drove up mid day Thursday and set up and ate lunch in town. Friday we drove up to Carp and Jeff was able to see the progress of my brother's house addition rather than just through pictures. We then drove back down to Ventura Harbor and spent the mid day playing in the arcade, paddle boating, eating lunch, & ice cream. We then drove to a local beach, San Buenaventura, which had a large "cove" type setting that we had all to ourselves. It was so nice. The sun set and we were back at our camp site for a great dinner and campfire.
