This year has been fun for Emily to finally recognize growing bellies on mommies means baby!
This year we are flooded with new arrivals and upcoming arrivals. Mike and Katie (Jeff’s younger brother) had their first boy. My dear friend and neighbor had their third delivery, our neighbor then had their 2nd, another good friend of ours is having their 1st (a boy) in June, and my cousin is expecting their first boy in September!
Emily was playing nicely upstairs in her room (Yeah!) and I walked in to praise her for that, and she looked up at me startled and says, "I have a baby in my tummy too!"
I asked her, "How did it get there?"
Emily says matter of factly, "God put it there." (Like don’t you know?)
