I am trying something new that was suggested to me by a dear friend, Jill. She encouraged me to look into setting up a blog for a book discussion I am facilitating. My original thought was to host discussion meetings here at our house a few Friday mornings a month, but for those who live farther away or cannot commit to Friday mornings, I am hopeful that this site may still keep us connected and encouraged.
I started out with a reading schedule, then picked some Fridays to meet, and finally, sent the email out to many friends and family inviting them to join along in the reading.
I have had a decent response. There are a few that are definitely interested and want to meet on the specified Fridays, another handful that want be a part of it, but do not want to overload their week by adding another "group", and still a few more that want to commit to reading along, but cannot meet on the specified date/time.
So, I have created a blog to help assist the majority to follow along and be encouraged, post their thoughts/comments, and share learned and applied principles through the comments section of the blog.
I am hopeful that this will allow those interested in reading along with the schedule but cannot do more, to stay connected through this site.
On Reading Ruminations, I have placed a "pole" for you to vote on once those of you who may be interested in using the site do so.

Thank you for all of the time that you've put into planning this schedule! I will try to stay up to date and join in the online discussion from time to time...
Will you add me as a "team member?" It would not let me post a comment on the Ruminations site.
