Busy & Blessed Summer ... so far!

:o)
We are so blessed!

This summer has brought blessings, abundantly! Praise be to the Lord who is the author and finisher of our faith (Heb. 12:2) for blessing us with health and happiness.
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy
that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down
at the right hand of the throne of God.

Here is a list of all the fabulous events that have taken place this past June and July and what we will be looking forward to in August and September.
  • Hosted our 2nd year of swim lessons at our house. Barb, my dearest friend puts it..."You have saved 60+ children's lives by allowing me to teach them how to swim." I really never thought of it that way.
  • Emily promoted out of AWANA Cubbies (church Bible program) and Pre-K.
  • The kids and I participated in Vacation Bible School at a local church.
  • We got a dog for Jeff for Father's Day.
  • Jeff and I (along with 29 other family members) went on a Mexican Riviera Cruise.
  • Emily started art lessons.
  • Jeff and I are supporting locally grown organic fruits and veggies. We get a crate of peak season fruits and veggies each week (more will be posted later). It has broadened our fruits and veggie eating!!
  • The kids and I have enjoyed several trips to the beach alone and with family and friends.
  • The kids and I drove down to Rancho Santa Margarita (near Mission Viejo) for 2 days to visit old neighbors (we had a lot of fun despite the earthquake on our way to the beach).
  • Next week we are preparing for my sister Katie and her kids to be here.
  • Mid-Aug. we will be going to Shaver Lake for some fun in the sun with the Bernards family.
  • Emily starts school at Santa Clarita Christian 8/26.
  • Nathan starts pre-K MWF after Labor Day.
  • Both kids start AYSO soccer in September.

Even though is sounds busy, we have had plenty of time to swim in the pool and enjoy being home with each other and hosting BBQ's on the weekends.
