Jeff's family has a cabin up in Shaver Lake. I have been a part of the short last minute weekend trips to the long planned out holidays for the last 15 years. It has been such a great treat. Though as time goes on, I am finding that I really despise the drive more and more, so I am not as inclined to encourage those weekend get-aways as I had been in the past.
So, this year, like every year we go for a "Bernards Summer Vacation". This group includes us (4), Jeff's folks (2), his brother (4) and niece & boyfriend and nephew. The holiday is typically Wed-Sun. This year we went in Aug. so the weather and water were at their prime.
I must admit, this was the best year ever! It would be difficult and frustrating at the same time to try and explain this on the blog, so I will not. I will just share some pics of the week with you.
