Wrapping up June

It has been a crazy busy month. Like this is the first time I have ever said that?
Jeff and I have thoroughly enjoyed our "new" church, Placerita Baptist. We made the switch, May 1st and have not looked back. It is a familiar place to me not only being so close to TMC where I graduated from but my brother and I also attended AWANA there when we were younger.
We have enjoyed the services, we have enjoyed the warm welcome we receive week after week, and we have enjoyed Summer Fest. Summer Fest is a 10 week Sunday Evening program. Special speakers have been lined up to encourage and equip "Faith in Action". After the service, PBC provides dinner in a picnic setting. Fun for all ages!!
Emily is talking up a storm! It is so funny and amazing at how much she has said in the last year of her life! Seems as though she is adding 20 words a day! Nathan is on the same fast track with his teeth! He is currently budding teeth #12 & 13. This is not as much fun for mom. Looking forward to another break in this "development phase".
I, personally, have been enjoying the month by reading 2 books. Angels & Demons (in prepping for some mental historical pictures of Italy) and The Excellent Wife, by Martha Peace. Regarding the TEW, I cannot begin to tell of the abundant information I am absorbing from this book. It has been on my book shelf for 10 yrs, and I have just agreed to read through it this summer with a dear friend & fellow wife who desires to honor her husband. Recommended to all women (of all ages). I will write more in the upcoming days.

Nap time is over...To be continued...

You gave me the 'Excellent Wife' one year for my birthday or something, and I just read it recently. Astounding! And hard but great!

Wow - so many teeth for that boy! I think we're still on 8 - the same ones from awhile ago. I guess I'll know when the others start to show up... :) Toby
