Daily Practices

1. Because sin is waiting and active, acknowledge your dependence on God at the beginning of every day, out loud.

2. Incorporate in your devotions gratefulness to God.
  • This is the soil in which pride does not easily grow.
  • If you are ungrateful, you will be proud and not responsible to His grace.
3. Begin each day with the spiritual disciplines of prayer and Bible study.
  • If you don't, you are expressing that you are self sufficient and don't need Him.
4. Seize your commute for meditation and memorization of scripture.

5. Cast your cares on Him because He cares for you.
  • When you humble yourself before Him, you will be care free.
6. At the end of the day, transfer all glory to God for all you did.
  • Walk back through the day and transfer it to God so you don't hang onto it.
  • Your ministry is only effective because God's Word will not return to Him void!
7. Before you fall asleep, thank God for the gift of sleep. Sleep is a daily reminder you are not self-sufficient. You are a creature, not the Creator!
